Our staff comprises professional engineers, construction/program managers, and airport/environmental planners with specialized experience in aviation infrastructure development. Current projects include airport work in California, Florida, Washington D.C., Texas, and the Spaceport America project in New Mexico.
Job Description:
DMJM Aviation is seeking intern students to fill the position of Engineering Aide in our Houston office. Job responsibilities will include computer aided drafting, compiling design data, design support, developing construction cost estimates, and other assignments as needed to meet the needs of our clients. All assignments will be performed under the supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer. Selected candidates must have interest in the planning and design of runways, taxiways, aprons and other airport facilities including drainage and utility services. Position involves working in a team production environment. Candidates should have working knowledge of CAD related software and should have competency with word processing and spreadsheet computer programs such as Microsoft Suites (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and WordPerfect). Must have good communication skills and be dependable. DMJM Aviation has a history of hiring intern students to be full time employees.
