NEW VIDEO SHOWS WHY ISPCS 2009- IS THE PLACE TO BE IN OCTOBER

A new video presentation featuring speakers and attendees at the International Symposium for Personal and Commercial Spaceflight (ISPCS) 2008 conference demonstrates why established industry players and entrepreneurs find the experience so valuable – and why they encourage their colleagues to attend ISPCS 2009 in Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA, October 21-22.

“This video features a who’s who of our industry explaining why they never miss ISPCS,” notes ISPCS Chair Patricia Hynes. They benefit from the networking opportunities, swapping ideas and best practices, and emerge from the conference energized and ready to soar.

Speakers on the video include interns, attendees and speakers such as Barack Obama advisor and consultant Pattie Grace Smith, Michael Simpson, President of the International Space University, Anousheh Ansari, CEO of Prodea Systems, Inc., Claw Mowry, President of Arianespace, Jeff Greason, CEO of XCOR Aerospace, Steven Landeene, Executive Director for the New Mexico Spaceport, and George Nield, Association Administrator, Space Transportation, at the Federal Aviation Administration.

ISPCS is the industry’s leading gathering for the visionaries and builders delivering the promise of spaceflight for mankind. ISPCS features informative sessions, networking opportunities and provides attendees with the latest news, topics, trends, and best practices that demonstrate personal and commercial spaceflight is an emerging sector within the aerospace industry.

Held each October in Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA, ISPCS is organized by the New Mexico Space Grant Consortium, a member of the National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program, administered by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
