ISPCS 2009 OFFERS GLIMPSE INTO LUCRATIVE
PERSONAL AND COMMERCIAL SPACEFLIGHT FUTURE
It may not be a crystal ball, but for some attendees, the International Symposium for Personal Commercial Spaceflight (ISPCS) is the next best thing. Listen to Michael Simpson, President of the International Space University, discuss why he’ll be returning this year. “Attending ISPCS definitely benefits the International Space University because one of the great challenges in the space field when you’re trying to educate people to be leaders of its future is to make sure you are not just teaching its past.”
Each year at ISPCS Simpson is able to “learn what companies are making happen today and planning for the future, so that we can be talking to our students about the skills, the qualities, [and] the sense of vision that they are going to need to be part of the solution in today’s space sector.”
ISPCS is the industry’s leading gathering for the visionaries and builders delivering the promise of spaceflight for mankind. ISPCS features informative sessions, networking opportunities and provides attendees with the latest news, trends, and best practices that demonstrate personal and commercial spaceflight is a reality.
Held October 21 and 22 in Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA, ISPCS is organized by the New Mexico Space Grant Consortium, a member of the National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program, administered by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
