$1,000 scholarship
Students studying Science or Engineering
Applications Due October 30, 2009
The purpose of this scholarship is to prepare students to apply for the $5,000 research scholarship available from Space Grant. Student will report on NASA related research on campus
- Student will report on four NASA related research efforts being done on campus.
- Student will interview 4 faculty doing NASA related research.
- Student will submit a report containing a summary of at least four NASA related research projects currently being done on campus and a summary of four interviews with faculty currently doing NASA related research projects on campus.
- Students may contact their Vice President for Research office if needing help finding NASA related research on campus.
- Students will receive $500 in Spring 2010 and $500 in Fall 2010
- Report due 12/15/10 – email to nmsgc@nmsu.edu
Scholarship Requirements:
- U.S. citizenship
- minority students preferred
- majoring in science or engineering
- undergraduate
- cumulative GPA of 3.0
- complete up to 5 hours of community service
