Applications Due October 30, 2009

The purpose of this scholarship is to prepare students to apply for the $5,000 research scholarship available from Space Grant. Student will report on NASA related research on campus

• Student will report on four NASA related research efforts being done on campus. 
• Student will interview 4 faculty doing NASA related research. 
• Student will submit a report containing a summary of at least four NASA related research projects currently being done on campus and a summary of four interviews with faculty currently doing NASA related research projects on campus.
• Students may contact their Vice President for Research office if needing help finding NASA related research on campus.
• Students will receive $500 in Spring 2010 and $500 in Fall 2010
• Report due 12/15/10 – email to nmsgc@nmsu.edu

• U.S. citizenship
• minority students preferred
• majoring in science or engineering
• undergraduate
• cumulative GPA of 3.0
• complete up to 5 hours of community service
