| Overview of Faculty Development Programs |

Gaining Retention and Achievement
for Students Program (GRASP) is a semester long faculty development
program. Its intent is to bring about a change in faculty teaching practices
which are proven to increase student retention and achievement. |

Science, Engineering &
Technology Education (SETE) Conference is an annual event for the
purpose of NMSU and local area higher education faculty from engineering,
physics, chemistry, and various academic programs to present papers.
Various research papers are presented on curriculum issues, innovative
teaching practices, retention, achievement, mentoring, and technology
as a teaching tool. |
